SUSTAINABILITY: CONSTANT ATTENTION TO PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Moellhausen is aware that its actions have an economic as well as social and environmental impact. Our commitment is oriented towards the broadest sense of responsibility towards our customers, the people who work with us, the environment in which we operate and from which our raw materials originate.
Moellhausen’s commitment is, therefore, global and uncompromising, starting with our natural raw materials from all corners of the world. Our commitment to identifying and enhancing each component’s typical characteristics helps protect the plant world’s diversity and supports local economies while ensuring maximum competitiveness and continuity of supply for flavour and fragrance manufacturers.

PRINCIPLES FOR PROGRESS
SHARED RESPECT
We work within the framework outlined by the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact Principles—to which we ask our stakeholders to adhere—the ILO (International Labour Organisation) conventions, the OECD/OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (i.e. OECD Principles of Corporate Governance). We act within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set as a target for the year 2030.
GUARANTEED TRANSPARENCY
CONTRACT RULES
We offer agile procedures that allow us to respond to all our customers’ needs. We are not afraid to make ourselves known and, to improve, we favor productive and uncompromising comparisons (No Gift policy).
That is why we provide all our stakeholders with all information about what we do. In a climate of fair competition, we follow clear, honest and transparent rules for all our contracts, which are governed by the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ENHANCEMENT OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES
RAW MATERIALS
Our natural raw materials come from every corner of the world, depending on their geographical typicality. By identifying and enhancing the typical characteristics of each component —the basic raw materials and our formulations—we help protect the diversity of the plant world and support local economies.
Diverse and global is also the origin of our non-natural raw materials, which we select according to the highest safety standards and sustainability criteria.
The ten essential principles
RAW MATERIALS
Now more than ever, the development of markets, technology, economics and finance, politics, and civilized society are becoming joint drivers of global progress and business interests. These joint endeavors demand an essential shared commitment. In contributing to this progress, we intend to be fair and to uphold a common strategic objective. Thus, we ask our stakeholders to join us in endorsing the ten principles of the UN Global Compact. Endorsement Letter
